Eklund's Crazy Acres is a family friendly corn maze by day (although it is much scarier on Friday and Saturday night.) Open mid-September thru October.
The barn lot has brain teaser games and corn hole for the older "kids" and a finger maze, hay pyramid, corn box and I Spy table for the younger ones, among other things. The wagon rides are scenic, going around the cornfield, through the woods, over a creek and through the pumpkin patch; and the 7-acre corn maze has extra emergency exits for tired legs.
On Friday and Saturday night, the maze becomes haunted by creatures created by Hollywood creature effects builder, Lynette Eklund, who worked on Lost World, Mouse Hunt, Sandlot, Species and Beetlejuice to name a few. This year's maze is designed to honor her work on Nightmare on Elm Street IV: Dream Child, but don't worry... The monsters only come out after dark!
