Back in July I posted an article about my family's first zip line adventure (Zip Lines Are Fun For The Whole Family). Plagued by my embarrassing descent from the landing deck, I neglected to tell you the only other negative aspect of our day--the unbearable heat. We inadvertently planned our trip during the middle of a heat wave and even under the canopy of trees, the heat was stifling.
As a result, we're considering another attempt to see how much more fun it might be in cooler weather. The beautiful fall foliage is another big incentive. I've found another zip line course near us and it's on our Autumn bucket list. It's called Go Ape and they offer Treetop Adventure courses across the USA.
